I remember and greatly appreciate all of my family members and friends who showed so much excitement and support for my craft when I started My Beading Art many years ago, and continue to do so today. These days, I am fascinated by clients all around the world who have chosen a one-of-a-kind piece of my work to help them express their individual style and vibe.

I have been a jewelry designer “in the works" since I was a kid and have spent many years perfecting my craft. I love collecting unique beads that catch my eye and the art of combining beads of many hues, materials and finishes to create designs more interesting than the sum of the parts. That’s one of the reasons I choose to protect the uniqueness of each piece of jewelry and accessory and keep each one-of-a-kind, just like us.

Living in Canada, the seasons and nature inspire me so much. I have mad love for beaches and forests, and the chill vibes of relaxing on vacation or hiking with my amazing family. Taking in the fresh air and aesthetic beauty of the waves, water, trees, sand, sun, aquatic and wildlife and all of the incredible hues, ignites my creativity.

These happy moments inspire pieces that are boho, beachy, classic, artsy, quirky, earthy, rustic and whimsical. I design for women and men and often end up with unisex pieces. I also love making jewelry for kids!

I am a busy mom of two kids (a 13 year old son and 9 year old daughter). I launched My Beading Art when they were young so I could be a work-from-home mom and take care of them fulltime. My jewelry business helped create a great balance for me with a creative outlet. Prior to that, I worked in corporate marketing communications and as a television news writer and producer. I have a Masters of Journalism degree from Western University and I’m also a graduate of York University.
