My Beading Art in the spotlight!
I gasped when I opened my email a few weeks ago and saw a message from a member of the Etsy Market Team in the UK! I was selected to be featured in the Summer Lookbook! As the seasons change, Etsy puts together an incredibly beautiful collection of photos and links to handmade pieces from around the world to showcase in an online “shoppable market.” If you click the link above, you can click or tap on the arrows to turn the many pages and visit the exact item listing featured. Just hover and click from a PC or double tap from a smartphone. One of my favourite beaded jewelry wraps is featured on page 38! (And my hand, too!) I was honoured to be chosen out of probably millions of shops that applied.
Anyone running their own side hustle or small business, who also creates the product, photographs and edits, writes, communicates, ships and promotes will understand, EVERY LITTLE BIT OF SPOTLIGHT is amazing and so very much appreciated!
Thank you, also, to my amazing friends, clients, social media followers, past colleagues, members of my amazing WW community who do so much good for My Beading Art, and for my HEART!!! I have a solid group of VIPs on Instagram, Facebook and “Connect” (the Weight Watchers app) who are constantly liking my photos, posts, reels and stories, leaving comments, posting emojis, and shopping at my online jewelry boutique!
It is so awesome to find 5 star shop feedback reviews on Etsy and people posting photos and tagging me on social media, showing off their beaded jewelry finds from my jewelry shop!!! This kind of engagement “talks” to the app algorithms that decide to show the posts to more new viewers. So please keep that in mind when you’re scrolling through your Facebook and Instagram news feeds… So even just a quick “heart” or “like” as you’re scrolling by means SO much to your friends who are trying to boost their side hustles! Your support and encouragement means the world to us even if you’re not into what we’re selling.
